Ten Reasons to Join the VBA |
VBA membership dues are as follows:
$150: Regular and Young Lawyers Division Members
1-5 years in practice.* --- $100: Full-time Law School Faculty and Government/Public Service
Attorneys. $100: Fully Retired/Fully Disabled. $0: Judicial, Legislative and Life Members. $0: Law Students Currently enrolled in a fully accredited school of law. *Years in practice calculated on original license date as of December

However, the Association does estimate that twelve percent (12%) of your basic dues are used for lobbying expenses as defined by Section 13222 of the Revenue Reconciliation Act of 1993, and are therefore nondeductible as a business expense. (01/01/2004) VBA members may also become Patrons and support VBA public service activities through The Virginia Bar Association Foundation.
