News media outlets are reporting that the jury in the trial of former Gov. Bob McDonnell and his wife, Maureen, has reached a verdict. The jury foreman is reading the verdicts on the counts. "Guilty" is the finding on 11 of 13 charges against Bob McDonnell and nine of 13 counts against Maureen McDonnell, according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
The case alleging corruption was heard in U.S. District Court in Richmond. The trial began July 28.
