The Bankruptcy Law Section of The Virginia Bar Association was established in 1989. The Section holds its annual conference each spring, in such locations as Duck, North Carolina, or Wintergreen in Virginia, offering section members CLE credits as well as networking opportunities with other bankruptcy law practitioners. The Section also reviews, comments upon and, in appropriate circumstances, participates directly in the legislative and regulatory process on matters of professional interest to our members. Each year, the Section distributes a legislative summary to the membership immediately following the session of the Virginia General Assembly.
