VBA on Main presents

VADER Online Training/CLE

Co-sponsored by the VBA Domestic Relations Section and the Virginia Family Law Coalition

VADER stands for Virginia Attorneys' Divorce Electronic Reference.

Presenters Michael Maschke and VBA member Daniel L. Gray will provide training for VADER Online, a browser-based resource for family attorneys in Virginia. This informative program is approved for 1.0 MCLE Credits.

The presentation is FREE. Registration is required.

AGENDA

VADER Online is a compendium of automatically calculating workbooks, including Support and Support-related worksheets, Equitable Distribution workbooks and Case Tracking worksheets.

VADER Online offers attorneys the tools for enhanced productivity, including:

  • Ability to access VADER from mobile devices and tablets
  • Performance of basic support calculations
  • Labeling of parties for same sex marriages and custodial arrangements appropriately
  • Ability to download and save case files for future edits
  • Updated case tracking worksheets with future holidays integrated

About the presenters

Michael Maschke is the chief executive officer at Sensei Enterprises Inc. in Fairfax. Before his current role, he oversaw Sensei’s digital forensics and information technology departments, which provided support to over 200 area law firms, legal entities and corporations. He is an associate member of the American Bar Association and has spoken at the American Bar Association’s TECHSHOW conference on cybersecurity. He is an active member of the ABA’s Law Practice Division: Technology Core Group and is on the Fairfax Law Foundation Board of Directors.

Daniel L. Gray is a founding member of Cooper Ginsberg Gray, PLLC, in Fairfax. He serves as secretary of the Virginia Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and as a member of the Virginia Family Law Coalition, an affiliate group of the VBA. He has published various articles on family law matters, serves as the VADER business logic adviser to Sensei Enterprises and lectures on family law and ethics matters in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.
