Is your current health plan the best fit for you and your law firm?

With all the changes in health care law in the past several years, choosing the right insurance plan can be confusing for law firms and solo practices.

The Virginia Bar Association introduces VBAI Health Care, powered by BeneFinder. BeneFinder is the newest partner of Virginia Barristers Alliance Inc. (VBAI), the wholly owned insurance agency of the VBA.

“We are excited to be working with VBAI, The Virginia Bar Association members and all Virginia lawyers with their health care,” said Lee Biedrycki, president of BeneFinder. The Midlothian-based company works with all health insurance carriers in the commonwealth. It offers a full range of health insurance services – including Medicare coverage – along with professional advice, education and value-added service with a personal touch.

“We look forward to addressing Virginia attorneys’ top concerns about insurance: cost, ease, speed, peace of mind and security of personal data,” Biedrycki added.

In fact, BeneFinder has scheduled four health insurance seminars for lawyers – and especially solo practitioners – before early December, when the open enrollment period for 2019 ends. All will be at VBA on Main, the member center of the VBA, 1111 E. Main St., Suite 905, in downtown Richmond. A primary point of discussion will be the impact of SB 672, which redefined the term “small employer” to include solo lawyers and their families for the purposes of group health insurance.
