Nine VBA Members in 2019 Class of VLF Fellows

The Virginia Law Foundation has announced that nine VBA members are part of its Class of 2019 Fellows. The designation recognizes them for leadership in their practices and their communities. Fellows are nominated confidentially by their peers.

The Class of 2019 includes VBA members

  • Thomas E. Cabaniss of Richmond
  • Terrence L. Graves of Richmond
  • Daniel L. Gray of Fairfax
  • Peter D. Greenspun of Fairfax
  • Honorable Louis Robert Lerner of Hampton
  • K. Brett Marston of Roanoke
  • Stephen D. Otero of Richmond
  • Stephen P. Pfeiffer of Virginia Beach, and
  • Honorable James Randolph Spencer of Richmond.

They and the other 2019 Fellows will be inducted at the Virginia Law Foundation Annual Dinner during the VBA Annual Meeting at the Williamsburg Lodge on Jan. 24.

The VLF Fellows Program encourages civic-mindedness and recognizes excellence in the practice of law and public and professional service. VLF Fellows number nearly 500 legal practitioners committed to the highest ideals of the law and to the concept of citizen lawyer.

The Virginia Law Foundation supports law-related projects throughout Virginia that facilitate access to justice and promote an understanding of the rule of law.
