An Alert about Email Security

On June 10, an email account from the VBA was hacked. Emails with the subject line "You have received a MetroFax!" were sent from a VBA account. VBA email security and your confidence in the emails we send are of utmost importance to us. We apologize for any inconvenience, and are taking measures to remedy the situation.

We encourage VBA members to use caution always in email transmissions. Should you receive an unexpected email with links or attachments without explanation or from an unusual source, confirm with the original sender that the email is intentional and not corrupted. And use caution before clicking links or opening attachments in emails that are unexpected or seem suspicious.
