VBA at Karsh Civility Project |
American division and polarization, declining social trust in our communities and their institutions, and the rise in everyday incivility have become a deep concern. The civility project of VBA at Karsh is investigating the concrete steps that can effectively remedy this problem. The Phase One report describes how VBA at Karsh came about and what initial steps the group is championing to address these ills. These planners urge lawyers to become involved because allowing the social fabric to corrode further eventually will undermine our democracy and endanger the fundamental attributes of a stable and just society. If you are interested in volunteering to advance this project, let us know where you'd like to help.
