Exhibit at the VBA's Largest Annual Gathering

Imagine your display in a high-traffic area, accessible to a niche audience in the attractive demographic of attorneys, judges and law school professionals. Increase your outreach by exhibiting at the VBA's largest annual gatherings.

At the Annual Meeting in January, you'll be able to build relationships and generate leads among several hundred lawyers from across Virginia at conference receptions Thursday evening and Saturday afternoon. Your fee to exhibit includes this access for your primary representative; sign up more representatives for an additional fee. You also can rub elbows with meeting attendees and their guests on Friday by adding tickets for the reception and the banquet to your order.

As an added benefit, exhibitors receive a list on-site of meeting attendees with names, firms and cities.

Annual Meeting exhibitor options

PRIORITY SPACE: Exhibit inside the conference center room where attendees will congregate at morning and afternoon refreshment breaks. Generate more one-on-one interactions by locating your display at a destination point instead of a thoroughfare.

LOBBY SPACE: Set up in the conference center lobby, which attendees traverse on their way to and from programming events.

The VBA will award raffle prizes to meeting attendees who visit exhibitor tables. Individual exhibitors can conduct their own rewards for meeting participants who drop by. Share the winners' names and the prizes with the VBA to gain additional notice among VBA members.

VBA Annual (winter) Meeting

Set-up occurs Thursday, Jan. 23, 2020, at 4 p.m.

Exhibit hours are:

  • 8:15 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, 2020; and
  • 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, 2020

Names of Annual Meeting exhibitors that register well in advance may appear in emailed notices to VBA members and nonmembers.

Sign up by Dec. 13, 2019, to have your company name listed as an exhibitor in the conference program, provided on-site. Use the form below to let us know of your interest.

VBA Summer Meeting at The Omni Homestead Resort

Set-up occurs Thursday, July 23, 2020, at 4 p.m.

Exhibit hours are:

  • 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2020; and
  • 8:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 25, 2020

Summer Meeting exhibitors that register by March 1, 2020, may appear in the promotional meeting brochure and in emailed meeting notices to VBA members and nonmembers.

Boost your visibility

Offer eye-catching and different give-aways.

Provide something of value in return for the time attendees spend visiting with you, such as a white paper, subscription to news and information they are interested in.

Your Annual Meeting Exhibit Space

A fee of $950 for the room with refreshments or $800 for the conference center lobby provides:

  • A draped 6-foot table on which to display your goods and services
  • Two chairs
  • Exhibitor registration for your primary representative, which includes coffee breaks and breakfast and the opening and closing receptions. Add additional representatives for $100 per person
  • A chance for the registered representatives to mingle and meet attendees at three VBA receptions during the conference
  • A listing of your company name in the conference program (Must sign up by Dec. 13)
  • Inclusion of your company name in a slideshow screened at the Friday banquet. Tickets to the black-tie banquet and reception are available at an extra cost of $100 per person
  • Overnight security guard

Special requirements (telephone lines, extension cords, internet connections, etc.) can be arranged directly with the hotel conference center at the vendor's expense.

Important to know

Exhibitor fees do not include your hotel stay, but exhibitors do qualify for the VBA group rate for rooms. Book rooms directly with the conference hotel. Find details about room reservations, when available, on the meeting event webpage on the VBA calendar.

Exhibit fees vary by location at the winter meeting. Your fee includes table space and admission for the exhibitor's primary representative to two receptions. You can register additional representatives and reserve banquet/reception tickets at additional cost. Please note: All potential exhibitors are subject to confirmation from the VBA office. Contact Kylie Hinson at or 804-644-0041, ext. 124, to check on space availability and exhibitor mix. You will receive a confirmation email when your involvement as an exhibitor is accepted. Approved exhibitors can arrange for special requirements, such as Internet access, with the hotel Conference Center at the vendor's expense.
