Safety policy

The VBA expects that visitors are either fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have tested negative in the 24 hours before your visit. Nonetheless, mask wearing and social distancing is strongly encouraged.

All VBA on Main visitors will be required to complete a brief form upon arrival for any needed contact tracing. If you visit VBA on Main and then test positive for the coronavirus, you must notify the VBA immediately by emailing thevba@vba.org and calling 804-644-0041.

Carrel space is available first-come, first-served, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Event space is offered by contract that requires cleaning and related costs.

VBA on Main generally is open when the VBA office is open. The VBA follows the commonwealth's holiday schedule (with the exception of Martin Luther King Jr. day and some statewide meetings) and inclement weather closings. These are the scheduled closings:
