Your professional hub is meant to provide members with a centralized site for VBA business as well as an office away from your office for when members are in Virginia's capital city. The address is 1111 E. Main St., Suite 905, in the Bank of America Center. For Richmond-area attorneys, VBA on Main serves as a convenient gathering spot for VBA events and activities. Many attorney destinations - the Capitol, the Supreme Court of Virginia, the Court of Appeals of Virginia, U.S. District Court, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, law firms, state agencies and regulatory offices - are conveniently nearby. Reserve Your SpaceIf you'd like to visit or work at VBA on Main, please submit a reservation request. Reservations are first-come, first-served, including walk-ins. Time restrictions may apply for prolonged use. Submit your request at vba.org/reserve or by using the button below. Please note that in case of inclement weather, the VBA on Main schedule follows that of state agencies in Richmond. Who Uses VBA on Main?VBA on Main is available to VBA members and some others at no charge. Experience this unique-in-Virginia bar facility. The member center is part of the VBA's initiative to be a law partner for life for all interested attorneys. Events are scheduled throughout the year in VBA on Main. Some of the Young Lawyers Division meetings and section socials have taken place in the space. The Virginia Family Law Coalition, the Joint Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee Council and the Appellate Practice Section Council have convened meetings on-site. And the VBA Board of Governors has held quarterly gatherings in the large conference room of VBA on Main. Attorneys find that the neutral ground VBA on Main provides is great for mediations. Depositions also have been taken on-site. Additionally, the VBA welcomes other bar groups to meet at VBA on Main. The Virginia Employment Lawyers Association and the Virginia Chapter of the National Employment Lawyers Association have gathered here, as has the Hill Tucker Bar Association.
