The Virginia Board of Bar Examiners today announced the names of 175 individuals who passed the February 2025 bar exam.
Of those, 138 became attorneys today. An additional 37 have yet to complete all requirements to become licensed practitioners.

The board reported that nearly 68% of first-time test-takers passed. The overall percentage of success was just over 61%.
Every applicant from three Virginia law schools passed the bar on the first attempt: Appalachian School of Law, William & Mary and Washington and Lee.
The admission and orientation ceremony for newly licensed attorneys will be June 4 with the Supreme Court of Virginia.
