The statewide leaderboard and regional food bank leaderboards from the 2024 Legal Food Frenzy have been updated to the day before the content ended.
The Legal Food Frenzy is a friendly annual contest among law firms, legal offices and law schools to raise food and funds for their local food banks. Organizers include the Federation of Virginia Food Banks, the Virginia Office of the Attorney General and the VBA Young Lawyers Division.
If these early results stand once all donations from about 100 competitors have been tallied, it appears that Appalachian School of Law has captured the Law School Attorney General's Cup.
The statewide leaderboard also reports on law firms large and not so large, government and public service entities and corporate legal departments. In the corporate arena, Dominion Energy is in the lead in overall collections and the legal department of Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters is leading in per capita donations.
The 18th annual statewide contest ran from April 15 to April 26. The leaderboard currently has a last-updated date of April 25.
