More that two-thirds of the 26 newly inducted Fellows of the Virginia Law Foundation are members of The Virginia Bar Association.

They include three past presidents of the VBA and a current Board of Governors member.

To be chosen, each Fellow must exhibit integrity and character, uphold the highest professional standards, be an outstanding community member and distinguished in the practice of law. They are nominated confidentially by their peers.

Through philanthropy, Fellows promote the Rule of Law, access to justice and law-related education, the missions of the VLF.

The class of 2025 Fellows were inducted at a dinner after a joint reception with the VBA at its Annual Meeting in Williamsburg. Justice Stephen R. McCullough of the Supreme Court of Virginia, also a VBA member and former Board of Governors representative, gave the keynote address.
