The Virginia Board of Bar Examiners has posted the list of newly licensed attorneys and those who passed the July exam but have not yet completed all requirements to be admitted to the bar.

A total of 391 people who sat for the exam were licensed in Virginia as of Oct. 12, 2023.

An additional 45 who passed have yet to be admitted.

More than 77% of first-time exam takers passed the July bar. The overall pass rate was just shy of 75%, according to the VBBE.

Every test taker educated at the University of Virginia School of Law passed, surpassing the results of students from all other law schools in Virginia, the VBBE reported.

An admission ceremony is scheduled for Dec. 6.
