This month, Goodman Allen Donnelly PLLC, a full-service law firm, announced that it has combined with Mellette PC. Both Virginia-based law firms have expertise in health care law and have worked collaboratively for years, according to a news release.
"By integrating our practices, we're strengthening our ability to provide comprehensive solutions to the complex legal challenges faced by health care providers today," said Michael L. Goodman, a founding partner of Goodman Allen Donnelly and an active member of The Virginia Bar Association.
Mellette's office in Williamsburg creates a fourth location for the firm. Its attorneys joining Goodman Allen are VBA members Peter Mellette, Robert Harrison Gibbs Jr. and Elizabeth Dahl Coleman as well as Trace Hall.
Other Goodman Allen locations are in Richmond, Norfolk and Charlottesville. The law firm is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its founding this year. Mellette PC had been active for 19 years.
In addition to Michael Goodman, VBA members of Goodman Allen Donnelly include Robert F. Donnelly, A. William Charters, Nora Ciancio and Eileen Talamante. The firm now has more than 20 attorneys.
